Frequently asked Questions:
What are the Leather Types available?
The leather we normally use is Italian sheep nappa. Napa leather, or Nappa leather, is the softest and most supple type of leather and is commonly found in higher quality leather jackets, wallets and leather items. You will find it is the leather used in a high proportion of our leather jackets. It has a uniform finish, a soft sheen and a butter like handle.
Other leathers are available depending on the style of jacket required, for example, a stiffer, rigid finish, etc.
What Leather Finishes can be manufactured?
For an example of our leather finishes see image.....
Standard - very subtle natural sheen.
Crushed / Crease - subtle crushed or creased effect.
Washed - subtle distressed finish.
Distressed - fashion worn look.
What colours are available for the Leather and Internal Lining?
A colour chart shows the large option of colours that can be obtained for both the leather and the inner lining. We used an advanced dyeing process which allows us to match or produce almost any colour required.
If you are still interested, then we would request for you to fill out the form below and read through our payment process as well.
Can I provide measurements of my body?
Ideally we would suggest that you send us measurements of a jacket that already fits you, (taken of the front of the jacket laid flat). If possible, we must have all the measurements listed in the Custom Order Form, otherwise mistakes can be made which could affect your satisfaction.
If you measure from a jacket size that fits exactly the same as your own chest, it will be literally skin-tight. We suggest choosing a jacket around two inches larger than your chest for a vintage tight fit and four inches larger for a regular fitted look.
Your own chest measurement needs to be at least two inches smaller than the jacket itself.
If you have problems filling in the measurements and can only provide body measurements, please do not hesitate to contact us.
How long will it take before I receive my jacket?
Once we have the size and details of your jacket, and the initial deposit payment is made, we will produce an information sheet for you and the cut and sew team to get started. The whole process usually takes up to 45 days, however it is normally must quicker than this. We will do our best to inform you of any updates if and when we get them from our cut and sew team. We will do our best to make this whole process a simple and effective one.
